Dear GEM colleagues and friends,
As we are closing another very successful virtual mini-GEM workshop, I would like to thank all of you for attending and sharing your ideas. Hope you enjoyed the Focus Group discussions and planning for the 2021 GEM Summer Workshop (stay tuned for updates whether it will be virtual, hybrid, or in-person).
If you would like to get more involved with GEM leadership, we have an open search for an At-Large member on the Steering Committee (SC). We invite applications for this position by March 20, 2021. Please submit a brief (no more than two pages) CV and a separate statement (about a half page) describing your interest in the position, to the current GEM SC Chair (vania at lanl.gov) and Vice-Chair (akellerman at epss.ucla.edu). This is a great opportunity to contribute to the future directions of GEM!
